My view on germanium transistors in guitar pedals.

The FreezeZone pedal, “is for Cork sniffing fuzz aficionados". That is how one critic commented about our FreezeZone pedal in a post. And that person may have a point. As technology developed in the music world, there has always been a question of which is better… Vinyl vs Digital…., Tubes vs Transistors…., or Germanium vs Silicone. This debate may never be over.

From my own experience there is nothing like the sound of a guitar played through a tube amplifier compared to it being played through a transistor amp. And I'm certainly for Germanium transistors in guitar pedals!

The FreezeZone only uses Germanium transistors in their pedals.
